Classroom Practices
How do we bring alive the KB Principles in the classroom? How do we start?
As teachers, we play a crucial role in creating the ideal environment for our students' ideas to take flight. To create such an environment, there are a wide variety of strategies we can adopt to support our students. The stories document some of the true strategies that have been adopted by our local teachers.
However, whilst they provide an insight into possible classroom practices, the stories represent but a small portion of what could occur in a knowledge building classroom. Hence, rather than taking them as the best strategies for your classroom practice, it is more important to consider the following:
What will I do differently when implementing this?
What will my students' experience be like when implementing this?
Primary
